It is important to note that the following requirements are being implemented in accordance with the advisories of the Singapore government authority (CPE) which oversees all Private Education Institutions (PEIs). XCL World Academy must comply with all government regulations and restrictions and therefore we expect all our community members to adhere with the following conditions.

The following measures have been put into place at XCL World Academy and we are most grateful for your support and understanding in observing them.

XCL World Academy students will commence HBL from Wednesday, 19 May 2021, until further notice. Detailed information on the HBL programme and software will be shared with parents via email. Look out for the updates from the Principal’s office.

Early Years will remain open for on-campus classes as per the CPE guidelines. Please take note of the following requirements for all Early Years students joining on-campus classes. Parents are required to:

  • Pre-pack and provide meals for their child’s individual consumption daily
  • Make personal transportation arrangements to/from the school

Parents may opt to keep their child at home. Should you decide to keep your child at home, please note that there will be no online support/HBL for Early Years students as all classes will be conducted in real-life time.

School bus service will be suspended from Wednesday, 19 May 2021, until further notice. Any unutilised bus fares will be refunded at a later date. Please allow some time for the Transport Company to finalise the total refundable amount as we are still waiting for the authorities to confirm the duration of HBL. The Transport Team will reach out to you individually on this matter. Please do not hesitate to contact the Team at should you have any questions.

Parents are required to cancel all pre-ordered meals via the online meal ordering portal. A credit amount will appear on your log-in portal.

Please do not place any new orders via the portal until further notice. Feel free to contact us at should you have any questions.

During times such as these, we are mindful of the extra pressure placed on our students and faculty. Our Well-being Committee will be reviewing our strategies to support our community. Look out for further announcements via email.

In the meantime, should anyone need support, please reach out to any of our counsellors or leadership team. We are always available. There is no doubt that these are challenging times but, by supporting each other and keeping a positive mindset, our community will be stronger.

Parents MUST avoid entering the school unless there is a specific reason to do so. If it is necessary for you to enter the campus, please seek prior approval from one of the Principals or Secretaries. Once your appointment is confirmed, you will receive a visit confirmation via our visitor management system.

Any person entering the campus will be required to undertake temperature checks and health questionnaire screening and perform TraceTogether registration.

Please be reminded that with effect from 17 May 2021, all parents, staff, students, and visitors must do a mandatory registration via the TraceTogether app to enter the campus. We seek your cooperation to ensure that you have your mobile app or TT token ready for scanning before entering the campus. Visitors and parents who are not able to perform TraceTogether registration may be refused entry. For more information on this, please refer to the MOE FAQ page.
