A Strong Foundation through Play-Based Learning
At XCL World Academy, our Nursery and Pre-K programme provides a child-centred, play-based environment where learning is shaped by exploration, relationships, and meaningful experiences. Children build essential foundations in language, social skills, problem-solving, and confidence, developing how they learn, communicate, and interact with the world around them.
Each class is guided by experienced educators who design activities around children’s interests and developmental stages. Through storytelling, role play, building, and sensory exploration, children strengthen thinking skills, creativity, and early language, while developing independence and a sense of agency through choice and discovery.
Learning extends beyond the classroom. Through outdoor exploration, children engage in movement, nature-based play, and hands-on discovery that build physical coordination, resilience, and curiosity. Daily routines and group experiences, such as circle time and collaborative play, support social development as children learn to share, take turns, and build relationships. Teachers guide them in understanding emotions, resolving conflicts, and developing empathy.
A strong focus on communication runs throughout the programme. In a language-rich environment, children engage in songs, stories, and conversations that help them express their ideas, needs, and feelings, building the confidence and skills essential for future learning.

教師は、お子様の活動に関する写真、動画、メモをSeesawデジタルポートフォリオに一日を通して更新します。また、アプリを通じて教師と直接連絡を取ることも可能です。
遊びを主体とした実践的なアプローチを採用しています。子どもたちは、屋内と屋外の両方の環境で、感覚的な探求、音楽、運動、早期の社会的な交流を通じて学びます。この年齢の子どもたちにとって、遊びは世界を理解し、その後のすべての学習を支えるスキルを身につけるための重要な手段です。
各クラスには、資格を持つ教師とティーチングパートナーがいます。各教室に2人の大人がいることで、一方がグループ活動を主導し、もう一方が、より時間や配慮、異なるアプローチを必要とする子どもに寄り添うことができます。
