What should families know before moving to Singapore?
At the XWA Open House, families will have the opportunity to explore our 5-hectare purpose-built campus, including spaces such as the Innovation Hub, arts and sports facilities, libraries, and dedicated early years environments. You will also meet school leaders, educators, and admissions staff while learning more about XWA’s IB pathways, future-ready learning approach, bilingual programmes, student wellbeing, and community culture.
When should I startlooking for an international school in Singapore?
Ideally, start researching schools as soon as you know youmay be relocating. This gives you time to compare curricula, locations, fees,language support, facilities and admissions requirements. Some internationalschools have fixed entry points or waiting lists, while others, including XCLWorld Academy, offer rolling admissions throughout the year.
Can my child join aninternational school in Singapore mid-year?
Yes. Some internationalschools accept students during the academic year, subject to availability andadmissions requirements. XCL World Academy offers rolling admissions, allowingrelocating families to apply throughout the year rather than waiting for thestart of a new academic year.
Whatcurriculum does XCL World Academy offer?
XWA offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum, including the Primary Years Programme, MiddleYears Programme and Diploma Programme. Senior students can also access Advanced Placement courses and a WASC-accredited High School Diploma, givinglearners different pathways based on their goals and ambitions.
What support isavailable if my child is still learning English?
XWA supportsstudents with different levels of English proficiency through dedicated Englishlanguage programmes. This includes EAL support as well as the Foundational English Programme (FEP) for eligible students who require more intensivelanguage development before fully accessing the mainstream curriculum.
Does XWA offer a bilingual programme?
Yes. XWA's English-Chinese Bilingual Programme is available from Pre-K to Grade 5. It provides animmersive dual-language learning environment integrated with the IB PrimaryYears Programme, helping children develop confidence communicating and learningin both English and Chinese.

Canwe explore XWA before moving to Singapore?
Yes. Families who are still overseas can explore XWA through a guided virtual tour and speak directly withthe Admissions Team about programmes, admissions and their child's individualneeds. Once in Singapore, families can also book a personalised campus tour or attend an Open House.
