Educational Positions

Admin Positions

XCL World Academy (Singapore) has a vacancy for an Accounts Receivable Executive. The Accounts Receivable Executive is the lead person responsible for ensuring payments received accurately and timely. The incumbent will maintain accurate records and reconciliation of all accounts to ensure compliance with internal and external audit processes. Bookkeeping activities for the school with a specific focus on the following responsibilities.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure invoicing is on time Issue receipts for fees collected via cash/bank transfer/cheque and go to the bank to deposit fees collected.
  • Managing student fee management for late joiners, posting of concession, charging of other Fee Charges and maintaining a master file for student invoices.
  • Analyse Revenue and costing for other Incomes for each month-end and reviewing concession posting.
  • Knowledge of SFRS 115 Revenue recognition and ensuring our income recognition is harmonised with the standards.
  • Reconciliation of student numbers with class student list on a weekly basis, updating of student concession.
  • Assist in compliance with CPE requirements in consultation with the Registrar department for Fee refund and other information.
  • Monitor and collect receivables by contacting parents/company via telephone, email, and mail.
  • Identifying the progress made on collections, recording information on the sequence of events from the first contact to latest outreach or up to date records.
  • reimbursement of expenses and Preparation and filing for Quarterly GST for Income Support in Corporate tax and Withholding Tax filing.

Person Specifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Accountancy or Business Management Minimum 2 to 4 years’ experience in a similar role and corporate taxes

  • Positive interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with other departments on a regular basis.
  • Strong Character and integrity with the ability to work independently as well as in a team, Time Management, and attention to detail.

XCL World Academy (Singapore) is seeking to recruit Extended Care Assistant to provide infant/child care assistance for children from 3.30pm to 7.00pm. This is a part-time contract position starting from 26 July 2021.

Main Responsibilities

  • Routine care for toddlers in areas such as meals, nap and feeds
  • Conduct daily health check for children
  • Ensure well-being of children, especially safety and hygiene
  • Make quick, informed and responsible decisions regarding children’s welfare and safety
  • Assist children with toileting and other care activities
  • Assist in maintaining tidiness and cleanliness of the area & washing toys [if required]
  • Establish effective communication between parents, teachers and other staff in the school

  • Advanced Certificate in Early Years or High Certificate in Infant Care

XCL World Academy (Singapore) has a vacancy for an ICT Engineer. The successful incumbent is responsible for the effective management of all aspects surrounding the ICT Systems and Support Services. In addition to the management and administration of non-educational components of IT at the school, the ICT Engineer will also assist and provide support to Administrative and Educational staff.

Main Responsibilities

  • Main point-of-contact for all technology-related matters at school
  • To manage and maintain the school’s administration and faculty systems that include, but not limited to, JAM Suite (and related technologies like iOS, OSX, Open Directory, LDAP, etc), Google Apps for Education, Microsoft Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, HR Systems, Follett Inventory.
  • To react appropriately on finding breaches of security and evidence of new risks to which systems are exposed
  • To proactively investigate ways of monitoring ICT usage to enable statistical analysis of usage identifying opportunities for security, performance enhancement and improvement
  • To manage the ICT helpdesk, service the users (both staff and students) based on the schedule and service level agreement (SLA)

XCL World Academy (Singapore) has a vacancy for an Educational Administration Officer. The successful incumbent is responsible for supporting the Early & Primary Years and Secondary Years divisional leadership teams with the management of the daily operations of the school. The Education Administration officer is to have a good understanding of school management information systems in addition to strong communication and interpersonal skills which will be highly required to interface with school staff, students, and parents/guardians.

Main Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and support the Dean of Student Life with daily cover and relief teacher’s arrangements.
  • Manage daily student attendance and arrival tracking, this includes contacting parents whose child has not arrived in school and follow up student absences with parents who have not provided details regarding their child’s absences.
  • Managing and following up with teachers with student attendance records.
  • Managing and tracking student passes to ensure students are meeting the authorities [ICA] requirements of student passes.
  • Collaborate with IB Coordinators, Dean of Learning, and Dean of Student Life, to lead exam timetabling and invigilation schedules which includes coordination of semester examinations, mocks and IGCSE/DP examinations via, CAT4, PASS, PIVOT and MAP.
  • Coordinate and provide set up arrangements support to run internal examination smoothly which includes timely and organization of deployment of invigilators.

  • Generate high school transcripts, print records, mail documentation as needed for university applications and transfer students and administrative tasks assigned by University Guidance department
  • Updating of student and teaching information in the school management systems eg : iSAMS and Managebac and CIALFO system maintained by university guidance department as needed
  • Update changes to the Secondary Years timetable, which includes staffing and rooming in iSAMS throughout the academic year as appropriately.
  • Engage with IB Coordinators to ensure that school management information systems are set up accurately in preparation for reporting periods.
  • To assist EY/PY and SY office in the absence of other members when needed and fulfil other relevant divisional duties as directed by the divisional Principals.
  • Responsible for any other administrative and miscellaneous responsibilities as assigned by the Secondary Years leadership team within the division.
