Admin Positions

XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit a Digital Marketing Specialist who is  creative, meticulous, resourceful and has passion in the marketing field, including digital marketing, social media management, content creation, communication, and other media-related engagement.

Main Responsibilities

  • Plan and execute events and partnerships for local and regional business expansion strategies.
  • Develop market intelligence/research to support tactical digital marketing planning and campaign execution for enrolment opportunities.
  • Strategize and plan all digital marketing, including SEO/SEM, A/B testing, marketing database, email, social media, and display advertising campaign.
  • Media Agency Management to execute local and overseas digital marketing campaigns.
  • Measure and report performance of all digital marketing campaigns.
  • Conduct social listening and analyse findings.
  • Identify best practices and trends to create visually impactful messaging.
  • Review websites and propose enhancement for performance and user experience optimization.
  • Support Marketing and Admissions in other tasks, as reasonably requested.

Person Specifications

  • Minimum Diploma or Degree in Marketing or other relevant courses.
  • Minimum 3 – 5 years in a similar role.
  • Experience in digital marketing and Google Analytics is required.

  • Passionate about social media.

XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit a passionate and highly energetic Digital Media Lab Support Engineer. 

He/she will play an integral role as one of the foundation incumbents in the new Innovation Hub that will be opening soon and will be required to have an aligned mindset towards having a better future with technology and being able to support strategically in the space of Technology to contribute to the school’s vision of becoming the School of Future. 

The successful candidate would be responsible for the service, maintenance, and support of our robotics, eSports, & virtual technologies space. 

The Garage is an experiential problem-solving learning zone that makes learning fun through hands-on activities to encourage creative problem-solving, deepen personal appreciation of technology, and promote digital literacy. 

The individual is also required to coach and train students & teachers to use the equipment & the space. The position sits within the ICT Department and provides ICT support as their schedule permits. We seek a candidate with a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, and who enjoys being in a collaborative team environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Set up, operate, and oversee equipment operations, manage equipment on loans and monitor booking and usage of resources. 
  • Oversee safety of the space, physically & digitally, by monitoring and promoting our “safe shared use” guidelines.  
  • Coach & train users on how to use the equipment and tools.  
  • Provide technical assistance as needed.  
  • Contribute to the development of creative technologically drive learning activities and programs. 
  • Resolves help tickets raised by the School community promptly; documents any relevant incidents.   
  • Promote a culture of safe, responsible, and legal use of technology.
  • Works proactively to meet Service Level Agreements (SLA).   
  • Perform routine equipment checks to identify technical issues and do repairs to ensure the equipment is in good working order. 
  • Maintain an inventory of equipment, tools, and consumables, and order materials and supplies for robotics. 
  • Ensure eSports software delivery system, currently net boot of clients, remains up to date, efficient, & backed up. 
  • Liaise with vendors, and the school’s procurement specialist when needed, for faulty hardware unit repairs and replacements. 
  • Able to provide a “live stream” of Garage & eSports competitions as needed. 
  • Creates documentation (help sheets & videos) for our helpdesk knowledgebase. 
  • Involvement in whole school events and activities as required. 
  • Helps monitor ongoing systems health and maintenance. 
  • Performs basic ICT Department troubleshooting on as schedule permits. 
  • Research and test out new technologies, works collaboratively with ICT colleagues and performs other duties as assigned by the Line Manager.

Person Specifications

  • Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Artificial Intelligence, Engineering, or other relevant qualification related to the role.
  • Minimum of 5-8 years’ experience in a School environment or in roles specialising in digital, mechanical and technological roles. 
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Server & Client operating systems.  
  • Flexible problem solver opens to new technologies who can work independently, as part of a team, and under time constraints in a dynamic environment.  
  • Positive and growth mindset with excellent customer service skills.  
  • A curiosity to learn our current setup and research and plan what comes next 
  • Relevant experience in providing IT Support.

XCL World Academy is seeking to recruit a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager to ensure company resources are allocated in an optimised manner to support growth and to achieve the planned financial performance, while ensuring superior student learning outcomes and our stakeholders’ (students, colleagues, etc.) experiences.

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure accurate, timely and effective monthly management accounts and forecasts, including P&L, Enrollment, CAPEX, and cash flow.
  • Provide financial visibility through routinely communicating financial and operational performances, risks and opportunities, to management. 
  • Develop actions required to achieve planned financial performance with management.
  • Lead activities supporting the development of the Annual Budget and 5 Year Plan.
  • Ensure that appropriate and adequate internal inputs (incl. financial and operational data) and external resources (e.g. market research materials) are used to (1) demonstrate understanding of market landscape and regulatory framework and (2) support the strategic plan.

XCL World Academy is seeking to hire Teacher Partners (Relief) to assist Pre-K to Grade 5 students in classes during the absences of Full Time Teacher Partners for temporary periods. This is a 1-year Relief Contract position where you will be contacted on an ad hoc basis when a cover requirement arises.

Main Responsibilities

  • A Teacher Partner would directly work with students supporting the teachers daily with the educational program and lead classroom duties such as assisting students with learning, organising folders, notifying parents on updates of students, and assisting students during activities and breaks. 
  • Support students across all aspects of learning (academically, socially, and emotionally). 
  • Manages and interacts with children in a positive and supportive manner, assisting in the execution of instructional plans by supporting children individually or in groups in the classroom. 
  • Help with picking up and dropping off students with class teachers for lessons, to the library, cafeteria, bus bay, nurse station, or at other facilities.  
  • Undertake playground supervision as per the duty roster.
  • Create a classroom environment conducive to learning and appropriate for students’ physical, social, and emotional development. 
  • Be a positive role model for students and support the school’s mission.
  • Work collaboratively and professionally with peers by showing respect, being prepared and punctual, and always adhering to the school-wide norms and team essential expectations.

  • Proficient in the use of technology and online applications.
  • Preferably Certified in Child First Aid.  
  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience working with children as a full-time Homeroom Teacher Assistant would be preferred.
